Hello again my movie loving friends! Today I have for you, The Craft. Released in 1996, rated R. This movie is a delight with the cast. It starts with a new girl at a Catholic prep school. She learns about a group of girls that are witches, but initially tries to fit in with the popular kids. Quickly she realizes that her new popular friends are not so great, and finds she fits in with the girls that are labeled as witches.
- The cast includes:
- Robin Tunney as Sarah
- Fairuza Balk as Nancy
- Neve Campbell as Bonnie
- Rachel True as Rochelle
- Skeet Ulrich as Chris
- Breckin Meyer as Mitt
- Christine Taylor as Laura
My favorite line from this movie, “We are the weirdos, mister.”
During the movie you learn more about the girls and things they are faced with, and how their circle of four makes things happen to help improve their situations. Whether those changes are for good or bad, and any repercussions from their actions.
No spoilers, but the ending is amazing and very intense. I highly encourage you to put the kiddos to bed early, grab a bowl of popcorn, dim the lights and watch The Craft. You won’t be disappointed.
