Silence of the Lambs – Released in 1991 was big news when it first came out, and still receives attention. Rated R and lasting almost 2 hours, we are not watching a horror movie per se, but a psychological thriller that is sometime more terrifying than simply blood and gore.
We first meet FBI Cadet Clarice Starling, who is recruited by Jack Crawford to help investigate a serial killer case, where the victims are partially skinned. The killer is known as Buffalo Bill, who has already claimed 6 victims and had taken his seventh, a daughter of a senator.
Jack has Clarice ask questions to an imprisoned psychiatrist who cannibalized his victims. She soon meets Dr. Hannibal Lecter, and realizes that Dr. Lecter, courteous as he seems, he likes to play mind games and everything comes at a price.
Will Clarice and Jack save the taken girl? Or will Buffalo Bill continue to get away with murder?
- Silence of the Lambs has an impressively talented cast:

You will find yourself enthralled with this movie, it’s one that I watch when I see it’s on TV, and I still feel chills when we meet Dr. Lecter the first time.
